In an interaction with News 18, the 'Mimi' actress expressed that she enjoyed sitting on the script with Kanika and figuring out certain creative things and how a script actually starts from the germ of an idea, goes through so many stages, and finally takes the shape of a film.

The National Award-winning actor admitted that she was also involved with the

music

of the film and that she loved it. The actress added that she loves music in general and also loves being involved as a producer who jams with music composers and figures out what sounds right for the film.
The actress further added that she always had a creative side to her that she wanted to explore, not just through acting but also through every aspect of filmmaking.

The 'Bhediya' actress also revealed that, after acting and producing, she doesn’t intend on trying her hands at direction. According to her, a director’s job is far more difficult, and you have to stay with that one project for a very long time.
Recently, the actress took to her Instagram handle to share videos and pictures from the set of Do Patti. She wrote, "Every film has a piece of my heart in it, but some have my soul too. #DoPatti has had my heart, soul, brain, love, tears, dreams, and more. This is my first time as a producer under @bluebutterflyfilmsofficial, and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed this creative journey!!"

It stars Kajol, Tanvi Azmi, and Shaheer Sheikh. The film is directed by Shashanka Chaturvedi, and it will premiere on Netflix.
