Kohli, who has been associated with RCB since the inception of the league in 2008, became the first batter to smash 250 sixes for one team in IPL.
He achieved the milestone during his 18-run knock off 7 balls studded with two sixes and a four against Kolkata Knight Riders.
Following Kohli is the formidable
Chris Gayle

AB de Villiers
, who racked up 238 sixes for the same team in the IPL.
Kohli also joined the ranks as the fourth batter and second Indian to notch up 250 sixes in the IPL. Gayle leads the pack with an impressive 357 maximums, followed by Rohit Sharma, who boasts 275 sixes. De Villiers secured the third spot on the list with 251 sixes in the IPL.
Kohli also surpassed Gayle to claim the top spot on the list of most sixes for one team in T20 cricket. Gayle previously held the record with 263 sixes for one team in T20 cricket, achieved during his time with RCB in various tournaments, including the Champions League.
