Karnataka MLA HD Revanna Sent To Special Probe Team Custody For 3 Days

Karnataka MLA HD Revanna, son of former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda, has been sent to three-day police custody of Special Investigation Team or SIT in connection with an alleged sexual harassment case.

The former minister is facing the charge of kidnapping and illegally confining a woman who is the mother of three children. It is being alleged that the woman who worked in their house was raped allegedly by Junior Revanna, who has been suspended by his party, JDS, and is presently abroad.

The complaint was lodged by the woman's son on Thursday.

HD Revanna and his son Prajwal, who has been missing since the news broke, are facing allegations of sexual harassment and criminal intimidation following a complaint by a woman who worked in their household.
