Karan Johar shared a new update about his next film on Instagram. The actor shared a post claiming that it is ‘not a film announcement’. However, the very next line mentioned that it could be one. He also dropped three hints and asked fans to guess which stars he is talking about. The majority opined that he is all set to announce ‘Sarzameen’ which will feature Prithviraj Sukumaran, Kajol and debutant Ibrahim Ali Khan.

Kran Johar today shared a post on his Instagram. While the director and producer titled it as ‘not a film announcement’, the very next line mentioned that it ‘can be one’ with fans’ help.
The post read, “This is not a film announcement! But it can be...with your help! We have been shooting this intriguing film for the past year, kept it under wraps because not revealing key aspects of the film even to the crew was a decision the debut director took. So here are the broad hints - A) A superstar from the south who has just delivered a pan-India juggernaut! B) A massively loved actress who continues to awe us with her emotional energy on celluloid C) A legacy debut actor who is working tirelessly to find his spot in the sunshine of exceptional talent & combatting the obsession with the N [nepotism] word! But keeping his head down and just working!(sic)”
It further read, “The film is ready and we will be releasing it soon! Any guesses? If you guess the title & all other details correctly we would love to invite you to watch a glimpse of the film! With love. Team (Film Title) (sic).”
The caption read, “Let the guessing begin!!!”
FANS THINK KARAN IS ANNOUNCING ‘SARZAMEEN’
Majority of the fans responded by saying that the actors who Karan Johar is hinting at are none other than Prithviraj Sukumaran, Kajol and Saif Ali Khan-Amrita Singh’s son, Ibrahim Ali Khan. They guessed the name of the film as ‘Sarzameen’.

The fact that Ibrahim has signed a Dharma film as his debut had been doing the rounds. IndiaToday had exclusively learnt that Ibrahim Ali Khan’s debut film with Dharma is tentatively titled ‘Sarzameen’. It will be an emotional thriller with Ibrahim playing the lead role. The film went on floors in the end of February, 2023. Kajol plays a pivotal role, and is paired opposite Prithviraj. It will be directed by Kayoze Irani.
