Kangana Ranaut recently shared a picture of herself a day after the airport slapping incident. The actor who recently won the General Election 2024 from Himachal Pradesh's Mandi constituency, received her Member of Parliament identity card. She shared the image on Friday, June 7, on Instagram.
Kangana uploaded the photo on Instagram Stories flaunting her MP identity card with the caption, 'New identity new identity card (sic).'
In the photo, Kangana is seen wearing a baby blue saree, minimal makeup, a bindi, and earrings.
This comes a day after she was slapped by a CISF personnel during a security check at Chandigarh airport. The constable, identified as Kulwinder Kaur, was reportedly suspended, and an FIR has been lodged against her.
Several videos of the incident were circulated on social media, with one showing the constable expressing anger over Kangana's statement about the farmer's protest.
Kangana later expressed disappointment in Bollywood for not supporting her.
On the work front, Kangana will be seen in the film 'Emergency', which faced delays. She is also directing and producing the film, with a new release date yet to be announced. Additionally, she has signed a psychological thriller with R Madhavan and will appear in the film 'Sita: The Incarnation'. However, she previously announced that she would retire from movies if she won the election.
