The film had an overall 14.09 percent Malayalam occupancy on Friday. The morning and afternoon shows recorded poor footfall of 8.43 percent and 8.89 percent occupancies respectively, however, towards the end of the day, it accelerated with 14.70 percent and 24.34 percent occupancy for evening and night shows.
Directed by Nag Ashwin, ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ has an ensemble cast of Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone, and Disha Patani. Actors Shobhana, Keerthy Suresh, Anna Ben, Pasupathy, Saswata Chatterjee, S.S. Rajamouli, Brahmanandam, Rajendra Prasad, Gaurav Chopra, and Malvika Nair, are also part of the cast.
