SAG HARBOR, N.Y. (PIX11) – Justin Timberlake's attorney released a statement Wednesday following the singer's DWI arrest on Long Island.
"I look forward to vigorously defending Mr. Timberlake on these allegations," said Edward Burke Jr. "I will have a lot to say at the appropriate time but am currently awaiting full discovery from the District Attorney’s office."
Timberlake was pulled over in Sag Harbor on Tuesday morning for allegedly not stopping at a stop sign and failing to keep right twice, according to court documents.
He had bloodshot and glassy eyes, smelled like alcohol, had trouble speaking and was unsteady, per court documents. Timberlake told the arresting officer, "I had one martini and I followed my friends home," court documents alleged.
He allegedly refused to take a breathalyzer test three times.
