CENTRAL PARK, Manhattan (PIX11) – A jogger running in Central Park was robbed at gunpoint early Friday morning, police sources told PIX11 News.
The robbery happened around 6:30 a.m. at the south end of the park, near East 59th Street and East Drive, according to the sources. The suspects punched the victim and held him at gunpoint while they took his cellphone and wallet, they said.
It wasn't immediately clear whether the victim suffered injuries.
Police are looking for three suspects, sources told PIX11 News. Their descriptions were not immediately available.
