NEW YORK (PIX11) – If not having a college degree is holding you back from applying to jobs, the New York City government has several positions open that don't have formal education requirements.
The Department of Parks and Recreation is looking to hire a city park worker. The responsibilities include lawn mowing, seeding, fertilizing, cleaning public bathrooms and more.

A file clerk position is also open in the Bronx District Attorney’s Office. The clerk would organize files, file and scan paperwork and provide coverage for front desk reception.

NYCHA is also looking to hire a caretaker who will assist in debris pick-up, snow removal and preparing apartments for move-outs.
The salary starts at $36,006 and can go up to $50,569 based on experience. Applicants must be able to drive with a manual transmission.
