JetBlue offering round trips from NYC to Scotland for $499

NEW YORK (PIX11) – JetBlue is offering a steep discount on travel between New York and Scotland to help roll out new transatlantic routes out of JFK Airport.

Travelers can score flights for just $499 a person. It's part of daily service between Edinburgh and JFK, which will run seasonally through Sept. 30.

Customers can also choose the first class Mint experience for around $3,000.

You must book a flight by 11:59 p.m. Friday for travel between May 28 and July 31, and trips must meet a three-night minimum.

Edinburgh is one of the U.K.'s most popular destinations, second only to London.
