The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has announced the exam schedule for the Class 8 and Class 9 board exams. The Class 8 exams will begin on January 28, 2025, while the Class 9 exams are set to start on January 29, 2025. Students can access the detailed timetable on the JAC official website: jac.jharkhand.gov.in. Applicants who will appear for the examinations are advised to keep a track here or on the official website for more updates and information.

The exams will be conducted in two shifts:

  • Morning shift: 9:45 am to 1:00 pm

  • Afternoon shift: 2 pm to 5:15 pm

Admit cards for Class 9 will also be available for download from the JAC website.

Class 8 exams will feature OMR sheets with multiple-choice questions (MCQs) worth 50 marks per subject, complemented by a school-level internal assessment carrying 100 marks.

As per the official notification, the JAC Class 10 and Class 12 board exams in 2025 will have a total duration of 3 hours and 15 minutes for each paper.

Students are advised to review the exam schedule thoroughly to note subject timings and instructions. Carrying the admit card to the examination centre is mandatory to avoid any issues. For more details, refer to the official notification on the JAC website.
