NEW YORK (PIX11) -- Thousands of users have reported outages with the PlayStation Network since Friday evening but as of Saturday morning things still didn't seem back normal.
According to PlayStation's Network Service Status, gamers were likely to still experience issues with account management, launching games and network features, getting PlayStation Video content, getting products on the PlayStation Store and getting products on PlayStation Direct.
Impacted products included the PlayStation Vita, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and online.
Reports on Downdetector spiked at more than 70,000 reports on Friday night around 6:40 p.m. By 11 a.m. Saturday morning, reports continued pouring in with more than 6,000 and counting.
The gaming giant has yet to announce a cause for the outage or an expected time for service to be restored. A social media post from Ask PlayStation support advised users to keep track of restoration on their service status website.
