Is Google down? Users reporting outages: Downdetector

NEW YORK (PIX11) – Google, the world's largest search engine, is experiencing outages Friday morning, according to Downdetector.

The outage is affecting search, Google News, YouTube, Gmail, Google Chrome, Google Drive and other services, users reported.

More Local News

There are at least 169 reports of outages as of 10:25 a.m. The outages peaked around 8:30 a.m., when at least 1,200 users were affected.

It's not known when Google services are expected to be back up and running.
