Tuesday marked the 127th birth anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, celebrated as Parakram Diwas. On the occasion, Prime Minister Narendra Modi tried his hands on a carving tool as he inspected a bust of Netaji at the exhibition at Red Fort in New Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, "It was Netaji who presented the identity of India as the 'Mother of Democracy' to the world. When some people in the world were sceptical about democracy in India, Netaji reminded them of India's democratic past."
