smartphone

in India next month. The company has confirmed that it will launch the

iQoo Neo 9 Pro

in the country on February 22. Now ahead of the official launch, the Chinese smartphone maker has confirmed some details about the upcoming iQoo smartphone.

The company has confirmed that the yet-to-launch iQoo Neo 9 Pro will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. The smartphone will come in two variants — 8GB+256GB and 12GB+256GB.
For gamers, the company has incorporated iQoo’s own Supercomputing chip Q1 in the smartphone. The company claims that the chip will offer 144fps* gaming and up to 900 pixel* super resolution, ensuring a smooth and immersive gaming session on Neo 9 Pro. Additionally, the support for MEMC (Motion Estimation, Motion Compensation) technology enhances video content across platforms like Netflix, YouTube, and Prime Video by adding frames.

The upcoming iQoo Neo 9 Pro will come in vibrant dual colour tone and premium leather design. Additionally, the smartphone is equipped with a state-of-the-art flagship 50 MP Sony IMX920 camera.
The smartphone will be available online on Amazon.in.

Several online leaks suggest that the upcoming iQoo Neo 9 Pro smartphone may come with a 6.78-inch AMOLED display that boasts a 1.5K resolution, potentially featuring a refresh rate of up to 144Hz.

Anticipated to be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, the iQoo Neo 9 Pro is likely to offer various storage configurations for users to choose from.
Rumors also point to a robust 5,000 mAh battery with support for 120W fast charging. Operating on the Android 14 system, the smartphone is expected to run on the company's custom UI.
In terms of cameras, leaks suggest the iQoo Neo 9 Pro might sport a 50MP primary camera paired with an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens. For selfies, a 16MP front camera is rumored to be included.
