of the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) has became the first player in the Indian Premier League (IPL) to win the "
Most Valuable Player
" award three times.
In the 2012 IPL, which was also Narine's debut season, he took 24 wickets and won his first MVP title. In the 2018 tournament season, he picked up 17 wickets in addition to scoring 357 runs, earning him his second
MVP award
.
Narine made an incredible performance for the Kolkata-based team during the 17th season of the Indian Premier League. Along with 488 runs, he claimed 17 wickets.
In his four overs, Narine claimed one wicket and conceded sixteen runs in the IPL 2024 final match against Sunrisers Hyderabad. In the 18th over, he removed
Jaydev Unadkat
off the crease. He played two balls during the run chase and scored six runs.
