India pacer Mohammed Shami has been reportedly ruled out of the tournament due to a left ankle injury, as per news agency PTI. IPL chairman Arun Dhumal revealed that the board will only release the schedule for the first 15 days as the dates of the tournament are set to clash with the Lok Sabha Elections 2024. Delhi Capitals might play their first two home games away from the Arun Jaitley Stadium. The tournament is expected to get underway on March 22 in Chennai.
