After a challenging start to IPL 2025 with just 56 runs in his first five matches, Rohit has found his rhythm, scoring 234 runs in his last five innings, including two not-out fifties and the recent 53 against Rajasthan Royals.

Mumbai Indians' innings began strongly with Rohit and Ryan Rickelton putting on a 116-run opening partnership. The team reached 50 runs in 5.2 overs and ended the powerplay at 58 without loss.
Rickelton reached his half-century in 29 balls, while Rohit followed with his fifty off 31 deliveries. Rickelton's innings of 61 came from 38 balls, featuring seven boundaries and three sixes, before falling to Maheesh Theekshana.
Rohit's innings, which included nine boundaries, came to an end when he was dismissed by Rajasthan captain Riyan Parag.
