Indian Air Force's Tejas Jet Crashes Near Jaisalmer, Pilot Ejects Safely

A Tejas aircraft of the Indian Air Force crashed near a student hostel in Rajasthan's Jaisalmer today.

The pilot has been ejected safely, the Air Force said, adding that a probe has been ordered into the incidnet.

"One Tejas aircraft of the Indian Air Force met with an accident at Jaisalmer, today during an operational training sortie. The pilot ejected safely. A Court of Inquiry has been constituted to find out the cause of the accident.," the Air Force said on X - earlier known as Twitter.
