Bumrah played a pivotal role in India's bowling performance, registering impressive figures of 6 for 45.
As the day concluded, openers Rohit Sharma (13 not out) and Jaiswal (15 not out) guided India to 28 for no loss, extending the lead to 171 runs for the home side.
Jaiswal had earlier crafted a magnificent knock in India's first innings, scoring a maiden century (209).
