Favourites India, who will also be looking to win successive titles, are the most successful team in this tournament, with five trophies to their names thus far.
The upcoming final will mark the third consecutive ICC event where Australia and India find themselves facing each other. The two cricketing rivals previously contested thrilling encounters in the ICC World Test Championship Final and the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup Final last year.
