NEW DELHI: Lanky pacer Prasidh Krishna starred with an impressive four-for while Mukesh Kumar picked up three wickets as India A bowled Australia A out for 223 on Day 2 of the second unofficial Test in Melbourne on Friday.
Producing a high-quality spell on the second day, Prasidh was at his fluent best, bagging four wickets giving a perfect audition for the third pacer's slot for the upcoming Border-Gavaskar Trophy.
After bagging Oliver Davies, for his first wicket, Prasidh got rid of a set opener Marcus Harris for 74 on the second day.
The 28-year-old then removed keeper-batter Jimmy Peirson and Scott Boland for 30 and 0 respectively to finish with figures of -- 16-6-50-4.
Prasidh has been named in the India squad for the upcoming Test series against Australia starting November 22 in Perth and is targetting the third pacer slot in the side.
In the first unofficial Test, the pacer took 4 wickets.

An injured Mohammed Shami was not included in the side because of injury.
On the other hand, Mukesh Kumar, who is the reserve bowler for the upcoming Test series, showed consistency in the second unofficial Test, bagging a three-fer.
In the last India A, Mukesh had a six-for to his name.
