inaugurated the restaurant on Sunday. The minister has assured that basic amenities with the government and private partnership would be set up on the banks of Godavari to make sure that tourists can stay at least for a couple of days. He said that the floating restaurant would be tourist destination between beautiful river and Kadiyam nurseries. This floating restaurant has been established under the aegis of Ahwanam Kitchns” franchise and the nature lovers would be taken on a boat from the bank of the river to the restaurant in the Godavari Island (Bridge Lanka).
Speaking on the occasion, Kandula Durgesh said that Echo, adventure, Wellness and temple tourism would be developed in the state with the help of cabinet sub-committee comprising endowments, forest, medical and tourism departments. He has informed that the state government is formulating long-term planning for the development of tourism in the state in coming five years and lamented that Andhra Pradesh is lagging behind in tourism though it has more tourist destinations than Kerala. He further said that there are ample opportunities for the development of film industry in the state and added that Vizag is thebest place for the film industry.
