NEW YORK (PIX11) - A year ago, Stephanie Pacheco was named New York State’s first-ever Poet Laureate.
Now, Pacheco’s hard work, passion, and activism have earned her the title of 2024 National Youth Poet Laureate. She joins PIX11 to discuss receiving this honor and to perform one of her poems “Yo Steph, Where You From?”
