MANHATTAN, N.Y. (PIX11) – You can enjoy music and performances at West Side Fest this weekend.
The second annual culture festival is a free, three-day event that spans Manhattan's artistic West Side. It starts at 11th Street in Greenwich Village, stretches across to Sixth Avenue in Chelsea, and up to 30th Street at Hudson Yards.
Activities highlight the area’s outdoor and creative spaces like The Shed, High Line, the Whitney Museum of American Art, and Little Island. Programming will also encourage attendees to make their own art, improve their health and well-being, and learn about diverse cultures through various pop-up performances.
The festival is organized by the West Side Cultural Network, which is made up of 20 museums, parks, performing arts centers, and cultural institutions along Manhattan’s West Side. The network aims to promote the area’s diverse and dynamic offerings.
Although West Side Fest is free to all, registration is encouraged. A full schedule of the weekend’s events and transportation information can be found on its website.
