Indian Forest Service (IFS) Officer Susanta Nanda shared an "unforgettable sight" that he witnessed of an elephant family escorting their calves while crossing a forest. The 41-second clip, captured during the night, is nothing but a treat for wildlife enthusiasts.
As seen in the short video, the elephant matriarch along with the other elders of the family escorted the calves safely while walking towards the other end of the forest. The tusker was seen guarding the family from behind.
Nanda shared the clip on X on January 23 and captioned it, "Just watch how the matriarch leads the herd. Mother and aunties safely escort the calves and the tusker comes at last, guarding the family from behind. An unforgettable sight."
