NEW YORK (PIX11) - New York lawmakers are working to push a bill that would force local law enforcement agencies to inform federal authorities of every arrest involving a migrant.

This move comes in response to several high-profile criminal cases involving migrants in New York City. Director Ken Genalo, the head of the New York Office for the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, joins PIX11 to discuss ongoing struggles with the migrant crisis.
