NEW DELHI:

Will Jacks

notched up a breathtaking century, while

Virat Kohli

stepped up during the middle overs as the

Royal Challengers Bengaluru

outclassed the Gujarat Titans by nine wickets in the

IPL 2024

match at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Sunday.
Virat (70 not out off 44 balls), who faced criticism for his approach in the middle overs in the previous game, used the sweep shot effectively against the spinners to make his mark.

Jacks (100 not out off 41 balls) then took control, dominating the chase and securing the 201-run target with 24 balls to spare.

Jacks unleashed a relentless attack in what turned out to be the final over of the game, hitting four sixes and a four off Rashid Khan, ending the match much earlier than anticipated. His astonishing performance included 10 sixes.

After the game, RCB posted a captivating video on their social media of Virat engaging in a conversation with Jacks about his outstanding innings.
WATCH:

With one run needed to win and 6 for his century, Jacks sent Rashid Khan over deep midwicket for a six, reaching his hundred and securing victory for RCB in style.
RCB, who are languishing at the bottom of the points tally, claimed their third win in 10 matches.
RCB will next face Gujarat Titans once again on May 4.
