It’s happening next year and I want it to be a low-key wedding, revealed actor Arjun Chidambaram.

Thug Life and Ponniyin Selvan actor Arjun Chidambaram got engaged to architect Jeyashri Chandrasekaran on November 14 in the city.
Sharing that the function was an intimate affair, Arjun informs that apart from family members, the engagement ceremony was attended by Karthikeyan Velappan, who is now helming Dulquer Salmaan’s Goli, Madhumita Vijay, director of Moone Moonu Varthai (Arjun’s debut film), and his co-actors from Kolai — Siddhartha Shankar and Kishore Kumar.
“I wanted to have an intimate ceremony at home. But, as I’m the only son in my family and she is the only daughter (Jeyashri has two brothers), both families wanted a proper ceremony,” he says.
While they are yet to decide on a date for the big day, he shares, “It’s happening next year and I want it to be a low-key wedding.”
