In an interview, the jubilant 22-year-old shared her admiration for Kohli, citing him as a source of inspiration.
"Virat Kohli is my favourite player. I see him as an inspiration," Ananya remarked, highlighting Kohli's unwavering discipline and indomitable spirit.
"My major takeaway from Virat is that results depend on the work we do. And that's why he is inspiring," she added, drawing parallels between Kohli's approach to cricket and her own journey towards success.
Coincidentally, as Ananya celebrated her achievement, Kohli, former captain of the
Royal Challengers Bengaluru
(RCB), showcased exceptional form in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 season.
