'I Love NY' eclipse sunglasses to be distributed across NY state

NEW YORK (PIX11) – New York state is making sure stargazers will safely enjoy the total solar eclipse on April 8.
Gov. Kathy Hochul announced special "I Love New York" eclipse sunglasses will be distributed at 30 locations statewide. They will be available at welcome centers and select service areas along the New York State Thruway.
The eclipse glasses will protect your eyes from the solar eclipse.
Hochul warned polarized sunglasses will not work and to beware of scams and fake eclipse merchandise.
