VIJAYAWADA: Chief Minister and YSRCP supremo YS
Jagan Mohan Reddy
has reiterated his commitment to improving the lives of the poor, stating that he is willing to go the extra mile because of his genuine concern for them. He emphasized his dedication to fulfilling promises and criticized
TDP
chief Chandrababu Naidu for making empty pledges that he cannot fulfill.
"I have a genuine concern for the poor, and I have done many things beyond what was promised in the manifesto because I listen to the heartbeat of the poor," assured Jagan, addressing a public meeting in Tadipatri, Anantapur district, during the final leg of his election campaign.
Jagan accused Naidu of resorting to deceitful tactics and warned the public against falling for his false promises. He emphasized his commitment to honesty and integrity in governance, promising only what he can deliver.
Highlighting the achievements of his government over the past five years, Jagan emphasized the importance of continuing
welfare schemes
to ensure sustained progress for the poor. He cautioned that
social justice
would be compromised if TDP were to return to power, citing Naidu's lack of credibility and commitment to marginalized communities.
Underlining his government's accomplishments, Jagan mentioned the significant financial aid provided to uplift marginalized communities and the creation of over 2.31 lakh jobs for SC/ST/BC/minority groups. He also highlighted improvements in the education sector, including the transformation of government schools with digital classrooms and curriculum changes aimed at enhancing English language proficiency among students.
