“Hunch is expanding its presence across India, reaching over 22 cities, and simultaneously pursuing
global expansion
,” said Ish Goel, co-founder & CEO, Hunch. “Since our primary focus is on global expansion, starting with the US, our user growth is therefore expected to increase rapidly.”
Hunch offers a variety of features, including the ability to create polls on any topic, and facilitating connections with individuals who share similar polling interests.
These polls cover a broad spectrum of topics, like pop culture, gaming, finance, Bollywood, dating, relationships, anime, and much more. In addition, there’s the option of Goss—an ephemeral chat feature where conversations disappear within 24 hours.
“In today's digital landscape, genuine communication is often overshadowed by the pressure to conform, inhibiting authenticity. We designed Hunch for today’s youth who have strong opinions but are devoid of any platform where they get to express themselves freely. Their opinions often go unheard, are disregarded or there is a lot of fear of judgment. They seek meaningful connections and crave a platform free from these constraints,” said Goel.
“That’s how Hunch was born - It is a space that doesn’t kill their curiosity, lets them be themselves, and helps them build authentic connections rooted in genuine interests rather than societal norms or popularity.”
