UPI ATM
in partnership with the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI). This groundbreaking UPI-exclusive White Label ATM, accessible at diverse locations across the country, eliminates the necessity for physical cards, thereby boosting customer security.
NPCI applauds this innovation as a solution for swift cash access, especially in remote areas, without the need for a physical card.
What are the key features of UPI ATM
- No Need of Credit or Debit Card: A notable feature is the elimination of the requirement for a physical debit or credit card. Users can conduct transactions effortlessly without the need for a card.
- Interpolable System: The UPI ATM system is designed to be interoperable, allowing users to utilise any UPI app of their preference for conducting transactions. This flexibility enhances user convenience.
- Transaction Limit and Multi-Account Usage: The UPI ATM facilitates transactions of up to Rs 10,000 per transaction, offering users flexibility in withdrawing varying amounts. Additionally, users can withdraw money from multiple accounts, regardless of the bank.
How to withdraw cash from UPI ATM
Step 1: Visit any UPI ATM located near you.
Step 2: Initiate the process by selecting the desired withdrawal amount. The UPI ATM system is versatile, accommodating various withdrawal amounts.
Step 3: Once you have chosen the withdrawal amount, a QR code will appear on the ATM screen. This code is crucial for initiating the UPI transaction.
Step 4: Utilise any UPI-enabled app on your smartphone to scan the QR code displayed on the ATM screen. This action establishes a connection between your phone and the UPI ATM.
Step 5: To authorise the transaction, input your UPI PIN on your smartphone.
Step 6: After entering the correct UPI PIN, the ATM processes the transaction and dispenses the requested cash amount.
