iPhone
users, accessing the chatlist unread filter is a seamless process.
Scroll down in the chatlist to unveil the search bar, and then tap the filter icon.
Tapping the icon again will toggle the filter on and off, providing a convenient way to streamline your chat experience.
WhatsApp chat filter on Android devices
Android users can also benefit from this feature by tapping the search bar and selecting the "Unread" option.
To disable the filter, a simple tap on the 'X' or delete key on the Android keyboard will revert the chatlist to its original state.
WhatsApp chat filter on web, desktop
WhatsApp Web and Desktop users can access the chatlist unread filter by clicking the icon located to the right of the search bar.
Similarly, toggling the filter on and off is a breeze with just a click of the icon.
Business users utilising the
WhatsApp Business
app for Web can also take advantage of this feature. By clicking the filter icon next to the search bar and selecting “Unread chats,” users can manage their business conversations. Turning off the filter is as straightforward as clicking the icon again.
