and then wished you could tweak it later? Or maybe you have an old
highlight
that no longer reflects your current vibe. Fear not, fellow Instagrammers! This guide will show you how to easily
edit
or
delete
your highlights, allowing you to keep your
profile
looking fresh and updated.
Here’s how to edit a highlight
1. Open the Instagram app and navigate to your profile by tapping your profile picture in the bottom right corner.
2.
Locate the highlight you want to edit and tap on it.
3. Tap the three dots in the bottom right corner (Android) or the top right corner (iPhone).
4. Select "Edit highlight".
5. You can now make the following edits:
* Change the cover image: Tap the current cover image and choose a new one from your saved stories.
* Rename the highlight: Tap the current name and enter a new one.
* Add or remove stories: Tap the circle next to each story to check or uncheck it. Unchecked stories will be removed from the highlight. You can also tap "Stories" to add new stories to the highlight.
6. Once you're done editing, tap "Done".
Deleting a highlight:
1. Follow steps 1-3 from the "Editing a highlight" section above.
2. Select "Delete highlight" from the menu.
3. Tap "Delete" to confirm.
Additional things to keep in mind:
* You can also edit or delete a highlight by tapping and holding on it on your profile and selecting the appropriate option from the menu.
* You can only edit or delete highlights that you created. You cannot edit or delete highlights created by other users.
