Last year, Instagram globally rolled out the capability for all users to download Reels from public accounts. How to activate the reel download feature for your Instagram account
- Firstly, record and edit your reel
- Tap ‘Next’ appearing on the bottom right corner
- Now, tap ‘More options’ at the bottom
- Scroll down and select ‘Advanced Settings’
- Locate ‘Allow people to download your reels and adjust the setting as per your preference
- Choose to enable or disable downloading for all reels or only the one you are uploading
- Navigate back by tapping the top-left arrow
- Finally, tap the ‘Share’ option at the bottom
