THE BRONX, N.Y. (PIX11) --- A suspect broke into a Bronx apartment Sunday and punched a man before threatening a woman with a knife, police said.

The intruder kicked in the door of the fourth-floor apartment on Fox Street in Crotona Park just after 5 a.m., according to the NYPD. The suspect asked the man, 51, to give him a scale and when he refused, he punched the victim in the face, injuring his nose, police said.

The suspect then pulled a knife on a 44-year-old woman and demanded she perform a sex act, according to an NYPD spokesperson.

The suspect then ran out of the apartment without taking anything, police said. There have been no arrests.
