NEW DELHI: Birthday boy

Kuldeep Yadav

produced career-best figures to help India register a massive 106-run victory over South Africa in the third and final T20 in Johannesburg on Thursday. The left-arm wrist spinner Kuldeep spun a web around Proteas batters to return impressive figures of 5/17 in 2.5 overs.
The victory saw India square the three-match series 1-1 after the first match was washed out and South Africa clinched five-wicket victory in the second game.

Praising Kuldeep's match-winning performance, captain

Suryakumar Yadav

mentioned that the spinner is never content with his own achievements and he personally presented him with a birthday gift.

"Kuldeep is never happy with a three-for or a four-for. A perfect self birthday present," Surya said in the post-match presentation.
Suryakumar anchored the innings with a sublime century in which he struck boundaries in all parts of the ground, with seven fours to go with eight sixes for his fourth century in international T20 matches.
He also expressed that scoring a century in a victorious situation makes his effort even more special.

"It was wonderful scoring a hundred, and especially when it comes in a winning cause," he added.
