Haryana police warn to cancel passport and arm licence, deputed drones to keep a tab on protestors

JIND: The superintendent of police (SP) Upasana Singh deputed in

Kaithal district

, warned to cancel passport and arm licence of activists found involved in disturbing law and order situation during their 'dilli chalo' movement on February 13. She said that strong action would be taken against miscreants and all arrangements have been done. As many as 10 companies of police forces including 5 of para military forces and police forces have been deputed at district border to stop their movement towards Haryana and Delhi. Moreover, a watch on movement is being done through drone cameras in the region, she added.
Meetings are being held with villagers to maintain peace and harmony while movement of farmers. All police officials are asked to report every activity with a control room round the clock. All borders connected with Punjab borders will be sealed on that day. People are being urged to refrain themselves from taking part in the protest. A minute observation will be done through videography, SP added.
Section 144 has been imposed in Jind district for a period of two months. Petrol pump owners are asked not to supply petrol and diesel in open or bottles. , head of Kandela khap said that "Haryana khaps are waiting moods of SKM and other unions who are not the part of this agitation at early stage. If they come together, khaps will back the protest. We didn't not hold meeting of khaps yet and action would be taken on seeing the present situation," he added.
