MANHATTAN, N.Y. (PIX11) -- Over 100 free city programs, resources, and direct services will be available for small business owners at the first-ever NYC Small Business Month Expo on Wednesday, May 29.

Hosted by the NYC Department of Small Business Services, the inaugural expo offers networking opportunities, resources, and a variety of workshops. Spots can be reserved online.

List: 6 training programs in NYC helping New Yorkers gain jobs

Doors open at Pier 36 NYC at 9 a.m. followed by opening remarks by SBS Commissioner Kevin D. Kim at 9:30 a.m. The following workshops will run between 11:30 a.m. and 3 p.m.

11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Show Me the Money: Financing Your Business (Main Stage)

Learn about financing options, considerations before taking on debt, questions when seeking financing, and required loan application documents.

Making the City of New York Your Next Customer (Workshop Area A)
