Group sought for punching, kicking 2 teenage girls in the Bronx: NYPD

FORDHAM, the Bronx (PIX11) --- Two teenage girls were attacked and robbed at a store in the Bronx last month, police said Monday.

The victims, ages 15 and 17, got into a fight with a group of suspects inside the business at 116 East Fordham Rd. in Fordham just after 7 p.m. on Jan. 26, according to the NYPD. The group repeatedly punched and kicked the teens, sending the 15-year-old girl to the hospital with facial injuries, police said. The other teen was not injured.

The suspects stole the victims' belongings but police did not specify what was taken.

The group was last seen running eastbound on Fordham Road toward Grand Concourse, police said. There have been no arrests.

The NYPD released surveillance photos of the suspects.
