Google Pixel 8a alleged price leaks: Here’s how much it may cost

is expected to be announced at the company’s annual I/O conference on May 14. The smartphone has been subject to several leaks and rumours shedding light on its design, and features. Now, details about alleged pricing of the phone have emerged online.
A report by OnLeaks suggests that the Pixel 8a is likely to be priced the same as the Pixel 7a.

According to it, the 128GB variant of the phone may cost $499 (approx. Rs 41,000). While the 256GB storage model could cost $559 (approx. Rs 46,000).
One of the major upgrades that may come with the upcoming Pixel 8a is that the handset may pack a bigger battery of 4,500mAh. For comparison, the existing pixel 7a has 4,385mAh battery capacity.

Google Pixel 8a expected design and features
Rumours suggest that the Pixel 8a phone may come equipped with a 6.1-inch full HD+ OLED screen. It may feature an HDR brightness of 1,400 nits and a refresh rate of 120Hz. The device is said to be powered by the Tensor G3 chipset which currently powers the Google Pixel 8 and Pixle 8 Pro.
Android Headlines recently reported that Google Pixel 8a may come with an “AI-mazing” camera phone. The report said that Google has teased a couple of AI-powered camera and photo features that the phone will come equipped with. These include Audio Magic Eraser, Night Sight and Best Take.
In addition, Google is also touring several other AI features that the phone will offer. For example, it will come with Call Assist, Circle to Search and email summary features.
As mentioned above, Google Pixel 8a may come with a bigger battery capacity of 4,500mAh. Apart from that, the handset is also expected to come with fast charging support of up to 30W.
