Gilgo Beach murder suspect expected in court; new evidence could be presented

MASSAPEQUA, Long Island (PIX11) – The Gilgo Beach murder suspect, Rex Heuermann, is expected back in a Suffolk County courtroom on Wednesday.

There's a possibility new evidence could be presented. The 59-year-old is charged in the deaths of four women on Long Island between 2007 and 2010.

Heuermann has pleaded not guilty. Asa Ellerup, Heuermann's estranged wife, is also expected in court.

She still visits him in jail and has said she will withhold judgment against him until the end of the trial.
