NEW YORK CITY (PIX11) – Already planning on grabbing Dunkin’ this weekend? It’s a good time to switch to a cold cup o’ joe.
Dunkin’ will give out free medium cold brew coffees this Saturday, but there are some stipulations: you’ll have to order through the app and make another purchase.
The free coffee can be customized with milk, flavoring and sweet cold foam. Nitro cold brew does not qualify for the free promotion. Purchases of any size qualify for the free drink, according to a representative of Dunkin'.
The promotion is a celebration of National Cold Brew Day, which also falls on an annual celebration of weed.
If you sign up for a rewards account just for Saturday’s promotion, you’ll also get the regular free medium drink with any purchase during the first week of membership.
Looking for more handouts across New York City? Saturday is also Earth Day, which will mean free Citi Bike rides for New Yorkers. Arby’s also is giving out free sandwiches throughout the month of April across the country.
And, with summer around the corner, many cultural institutions are announcing their free events, including Hudson Yards’ free concert series.
