Futurama can gear up for a treat this month as the much anticipated season 12 nears its release. On June 8th, 2024,
Hulu
released a teaser trailer with Billy West, Katey Sagal, John DiMaggio, Maurice LaMarche, Lauren Tom and more returning to voice the main cast in the new season of Futurama.

Cohen. It will be returning for season 12 on the 29th of July. The episodes will be available to watch on Hulu and Disney+ Hotstar.
Futurama has had an on-and-off release schedule. Having initially been cancelled by Fox, Futurama ran reruns on Adult Swim from 2003 to 2007, with four direct-to-video films releasing from 2007 to 2009. Afterwards, it was picked up by Comedy Central for a seventh season, and then moved onto Hulu, where all the episodes can now be viewed. The show will continue on until 2026, with two more seasons confirmed. It has received lots of praise from critics and multiple awards, including six Emmy Awards and nine Annie Awards.
The story of the show revolves around a slacker called Philip J. Fry. He gets cryogenically preserved in 1999 for a thousand years, and is revived on December 31st in 2999. Trying to navigate an unfamiliar world, he finds a job at an interplanetary delivery company called Planet Express, where he befriends a cyclops called Leela and a robot called Bender. Matt Groening was inspired to make the show during his time working at The Simpsons. He has also made other famous television shows, like Disenchantment.
