Four held with ‘forged tickets’ at Srinagar airport

SRINAGAR:

Security personnel

at Srinagar International Airport

detained

four men and seized forged air tickets from them on Saturday, said officials.
All four are locals and had managed to enter the airport using the

fake tickets

. A

preliminary investigation

found that their motive behind the

forgery

was to see off their

parents leaving for Umrah

, an official said.

The suspects were identified as Srinagar residents Mohammad Ashraf Sheikh, Aaqib Mushtaq, Sakir Mushtaq, and Junaid Ahmad Bhat of Anantnag. They were later handed over to police for further investigation. Police are probing their connections inside the airport.
