Fire officials said the FDNY responded to the incident at 40 West 40th St. between Fifth and Sixth Avenues just before 9:30 a.m.

No injuries were reported despite the area being busy amid the holiday season.

A spokesperson for Bryant Park provided the following statement to PIX11 News:

"We are grateful for the FDNY’s quick response to the incident that occurred earlier today. The Rink and The Lodge are currently open. Most of The Holiday Shops have reopened, and we expect all the Holiday Shops that were not affected by the fire to reopen later today."
