NEW YORK (PIX11) - The leading cause of deadly fires in New York this year is lithium-ion batteries, which have caused over 100 injuries and 18 deaths, FDNY officials say.
Now, the FDNY is pushing for new federal safety standards. FDNY Commissioner Laura Kavanagh joins PIX11 to discuss how the regulations would help New Yorkers.
