FDNY battles massive fire in Brooklyn: officials

BROOKLYN, N.Y. (PIX11) – At least one person was seriously injured in a massive house fire in Kensington Friday evening, according to FDNY officials.  

The massive four-alarm fire was first called in at 5:43 p.m. for a house located between Beverly Road and Avenue C. Over 150 FDNY members and 39 fire units were called in to battle the massive flame, officials said.

Footage from the Citizen App shows the fire had spread to at least one other structure, causing smokey conditions and delaying traffic, according to Notify NYC.  

Fire crews are still battling the fire, FDNY officials said.
